Testing noise and vibration for a sorting machine

Synergetics staff conducted a study to assess the noise and vibration emitted by a sorting machine against assessment criteria specified by the client. Noise and vibration levels were carefully measured at a number of locations around the machine, and a contour plot of exposure whole-body and hand-arm vibration was prepared. The study concluded that, whilst vibration measurements satisfied the requirements of the assessment criteria, noise criteria were exceeded.
